About the Club

Aims:

• To provide fun and safe Bee netball and junior training sessions for young players
• To work with local sports development agencies to provide opportunities for players, coaches and umpires
• To give opportunities to young players to make friends, develop a love of sport and exercise, and to build self-esteem

Background
The club has been launched by a small group of volunteers who play, coach and umpire netball on a regular basis. All of our umpires are qualified to or working towards a minimum C grade, and all of our coaches have achieved or are working towards a Level 2 coaching qualification.

We have established links to other clubs in the area, which have enabled us to set up a fast-growing junior league for the area. We place teams of all age groups into the league and club members are encouraged to join competitive netball as soon as possible after starting training with us.
